The Great Escape trailer

This was one of my very favorite movies during all my childhood (maybe because my father really liked it....) and also when I was a teen.

After being in Dachau(Munich-Germany), I watched the movie again and it is not going to be the same anymore. The concentration camp was as real as the one in the movie, so sad, so nasty....

Fortunately, they had there gas shower, but they never used them at this site.

Still, sad...
Still, I like the work the actors have done in that movie. My favorite: the cooler king, Steve Macqueen.
